What are Public and Private keys?
Updated
A Public Key is like your wallet's address that you can share with others to receive crypto. It is also a string of letters and numbers and corresponds to a specific private key that authorizes the owner of the wallet to access and spend funds. Your Public Key can be shared with others for receiving payments, but it should not be used to access your wallet or move funds as that requires your Private Key.
On the other hand, a Private Key is a unique and secret password used to access and manage crypto assets stored in a wallet. It is a long string of letters and numbers, and it should never be shared with anyone as doing so could risk losing your funds. Your Private Key essentially proves your ownership of the assets in your wallet.
